Yes we're that anal that we put this on the home page. Why you might ask? Because we think privacy is important and you should know all about our stance on this topic before you get involved with our site. Seriously, who the hell wants to buy an offensive t-shirt and then get 400 solicitations for porn or have their email sold to Viagra salesmen in foreign nations. We sure don't, so we plop this dandy privacy policy right here for you to consider. (If you're kinda lazy like us, the deal is bOffensive sells t-shirts and nothin' else. We don't sell your name, address, or any other bullshit and we don't trade lists or anything else with anyone else..... )

So here's our simple bOffensive Privacy Policy.

bOffensive.com collects only information deemed necessary for the conduct of normal business activities. More specifically, bOffensive.com collects information to process orders for merchandise, to provide subscriptions to our email newsletters, and to transfer data and services to our online clientele. The information collected may include names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, and financial information necessary to facilitate online purchasing.

We do not collect data from you that is not essential to run our business. The data we collect to sell wares is collected through our Miva Merchant storefront and kept only 30 days (to allow for returns, etc..) after your order is processed. Once the 30 days has past, we purge your records from our storefront database and have no record on our server of your purchase. The financial details of the transaction are kept by both our bank and your financial institution should we ever need to consult the record, but all details of the actual items purchased, your email address, and the like are removed from our servers.

bOffensive maintains a "Wishlist" capability in our store, which will store your initials and phone number as your wishlist lookup. Should you wish to "fake" the initials or phone number you easily can, and just pass the newly incorrect information along to those who might search for your wish list. This information is used solely to create your wishlist and is an optional feature of the store. Data in wishlists are stored on our server for one year from the time of creation.

bOffensive uses a PHP-based script to track visitors to the site with a variety of non-personally identifiable information. We use this information to learn how many visitors we have each day, how many pages they view, where they found us on the Internet, and at what resoultion they are viewing our site.

bOffensive offers a mailing list through BraveNet which will store your email address and name should you choose to register for it and double opt in. BraveNet.com has their own privacy policy which varies from those of bOffensive so we advise you to view their site for that information.

Disclosure
We will disclose any information we maintain when required to do so by law.

Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. bOffensive.com does not presently, and neve has, disclosed personally identifiable information to companies who want to market products or services to you. Should we ever consider doing so in the future (damn unlikely) we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out or block such uses. Additionally, bOffensive.com will not use or transfer personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without providing you with an opportunity to opt out of these uses.
